This course is a reflective space, so privacy matters. Here is plainly what happens to your information.

Who is responsible

NeuroHub Community Ltd runs this course and is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us through neurohubcommunity.org.

What we collect and why

• Purchase details. Stripe takes your payment and gives us your email address and confirmation of payment. We use your email to give you access and to send sign-in links. We do not see or store your card details.
• Your course progress and journal. Your lessons, XP, badges, reflections, commitments and check-in answers are saved on your device and synced to your account, so you can continue on another device. We do not read them, and they are not used for marketing.
• Your check-ins. Wellbeing and identity check-in answers are part of that saved progress. They are reflections for you, not clinical records.
• Your Growth Journal PDF. It is built on your own device from your saved progress. It is not uploaded to us.
• Phoenix conversations. Your chat history is kept only in your browser session. NeuroHub does not store it. The messages you send, along with which lesson you are viewing, are processed on our own servers to find a reply in the course and blog. They are not sent to an AI service. Please do not include names or identifying details.
• Voice. Voice is optional. Speech-to-text uses your browser’s built-in service. In Chrome and Edge, audio is sent to the browser vendor (for example Google or Microsoft) to be transcribed. NeuroHub does not receive or record your audio.
• Approximate location. Your country, taken from your connection, is used only to pre-select the right helplines in the Help panel. It is not stored.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to save your settings and progress. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Who else handles your data

• Stripe (payments).
• Netlify (hosting, and storage of your synced progress).
• Brevo (sending your access and sign-in emails).

How long we keep it

We keep your purchase record and synced progress for as long as your access exists. You can export your data from Settings, and ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

The course is written for adults and young people who can decide for themselves whether to use it. Younger people should use it with a parent or carer.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above.
